Simona is a glamour model from Tampa who was willing to shoot just about anything, except glamour. In Florida, about 95% of the photographers there shoot Glamour. Its kind of sad really.

Anyway, she just happened to land some paying work in Atlanta and noticed my portfolio. So we scheduled a shoot and worked over a few ideas. It was funny, she worked with 2 other photographers in the area and said that I was by far the best she’s worked with. She’s already looking for more paying work up here to schedule another shoot with me. I seem to have a knack for spoiling models. =]

Fun Fact: Believe it or not, she’s actually a natural blonde Romanian. She dyes her hair.

I actually took the first shot of my next art project with Simona, but its not ready for public eyes yet. I think I’m gonna wait until I have the rest of the set shot and retouched before unveiling them.

Thanks to my shitty luck this week I’ve got a ton of free time. I did a quick test shoot with a model last Sunday by the name of Tempast. When I answered the door she was wearing a grey wifebeater, grey shorts while carrying about 4 fantasy swords and 3 knives. All of them ranging from “Fucking Sharp” to “Please don’t point that at me”. Who needs an escort when you have a finely sharpened Ninja Straight Blade complete with a matching Tanto?

When I asked her where her wardrobe was, she says she didn’t bring any.

“Oh, well I guess that makes what we’re shooting today a lot easier to figure out.” Normally for test shoots the model brings along a few outfits or costumes to put on. Apparently, she didn’t have a problem not bringing clothes. Clothed or not, I still think I can take a good picture. =]

Bebe is a model from Washington DC. She’s got a great site up at TheBebeDoll.com. We did this shoot during DragonCon since she was part of a promotion group called Troma. She was a little worried about me shooting her since she “wasn’t like the typical skinny models I shoot all the time”. Hehehe, if only she knew.

So on DragonCon’s “Hangover Sunday” I picked her up early and we started shooting. She had a few outfits and we managed to shoot all of them, including a few without them too. This is also the last Liquid Latex shot I’m going to do for a while. At least until I can come up with something more creative to do with the stuff.

She was a lot of fun to work with and seemed really at ease in front of my camera.

Taken the day before my birthday. For those that know me, yeah I’ve lost some weight.

You know what? Taking a picture of yourself with an SLR and a softbox is fucking hard.

Those crazy dutch sex people did a write up on me and my photography. There will be a full interview with me in about a month I am told. Lovechess is an erotic computer chess game. You can see some of the screenshots of the game on their site. Apparently they also regularly feature erotic artwork and photography of up and coming artists.

I am kind of amazed at how much info he was able to find out about me. Ah well. The internet isn’t the greatest place to hold one’s secrets very well.

Yup today is my birthday. Didn’t do anything too crazy, I’m saving that for this weekend. I do have to work tomorrow…

Anyway, while I was shooting Genevieve, Fela was cool enough to come hang out and let me take some pictures of her under one condition: I couldn’t erase any of her tattoos. Except for this old one on the small of her back, but that’s another story.

So I decided to shoot her naturally…

A friend of mine talked about this blog where I was apparently talked about in a couple of postings. So I Googled the name she told me and I found:

Apparently when I blogged about my photos and posted them to an LJ community, this other guy blogged about me on his WordPress blog. Then Violet Blue saw the photo, thought it was an actual Real Doll so she posted my photo, while giving me proper credit (applause), and blogged about Real Dolls. The same day a reader told her that was an actual real girl, so she was stunned and blogged about me specifically.

So here I am blogging about the blog that blogged about a photo that was referenced in another blog by a professional blogger about raping real dolls and who eventually blogged about my work specifically and linked to the original blog that started it all…

It’s almost like one big Cyclic Blog Orgy. Except everyone went home happy and no one was left out (and there’s photo evidence to prove it).

I have 5 dogs.

In February it was a particularly warm day so we let all of them out onto the deck. The sun was just right so I brought out my camera and snapped a few shots. I got a bug up my ass and flipped through them last weekend and decided to retouch a couple shots.

I might do more. We’ll see.

This is Hiko. Our Sharpei/Pit Bull (Imagine a Pit Bull with a lot of extra skin). He likes to worry a lot. Dunno what about though.

This is Chance. We called him that because we were his last chance at a decent life. He has one blue eye and one brown one.

Don’t think I ever shared this set. This was my first shoot of the year. I’d been on hiatus for nearly a year at this point and Peabo was passing through town and decided to stop by and shoot with me. So I took him up on his offer to shoot as a refresher on photography.

The first time I retouched these images I used my old style, but after Skin Two I picked up a new technique and adapted it to my tastes. So I decided that I would remix these shots with the new style.

Genevieve is a friend of Jess and is also from SC. She saw Jess’ shots and scheduled a shoot with me right away. Jess and her were supposed to come together but at the last minute Jess had a scheduling conflict. It was a fun shoot because we just winged it the entire time. The first shot is by far my favorite. Over the last few sets of shots I’ve been perfecting a new post-processing technique. This is the first set of shots where I think I finally got the hang of it.
